Hadfield.
Hadfield is a collection of sixteen townhouses arranged across three levels, designed to merge affordability with a refined modern aesthetic. The development is conceived as a cohesive urban composition, with a strong emphasis on livability, efficiency, and a welcoming street presence. A carefully balanced material palette — concrete look render, dark metal cladding, and warm timber finishes — defines the architectural language, bringing together robust geometry and approachable warmth.
The façades are expressed through clean, rectilinear volumes that generate rhythm and depth across the frontage. Timber-look cladding introduces texture and human scale, while recessed upper levels in darker finishes reduce visual bulk and reinforce proportion. Each dwelling is complemented by generous balconies, encouraging indoor–outdoor living and drawing natural light deep into the interiors. At the pedestrian level, landscaped entryways and clearly defined thresholds strengthen the sense of address and contribute to a more engaging public realm.
Interiors continue themes of balance and clarity, combining neutral tones with natural textures to create spaces that feel both contemporary and timeless. Open-plan kitchens integrate seamlessly with living and dining areas, featuring refined joinery, stone benchtops, and full-height glazing that connects the interior to private terraces. Natural light and ventilation are prioritized throughout, while timber flooring and carefully detailed finishes establish a warm and inviting domestic atmosphere.
