Elsternwick.
The Glen Eira House project was inspired by the client’s vision for a Hampton-style residence, characterized by its light and airy interior, modern yet unpretentious aesthetic. Drawing from a fusion of Art Deco elements and French provincial influences, the design seamlessly integrates these styles into a cohesive whole.

Subtle arches are woven throughout the home, serving as refined design elements that gently highlight key spaces. The combination of arched doorways, goose-neck tapware, and Art Deco-inspired arched lighting creates a seamless flow, adding a touch of elegance and continuity throughout the interiors.

The Calacatta Borghini marble was selected for its ability to introduce warmth and sophistication into the interior, perfectly paired with the refined brass-finished fixtures. The integration of modern, sleek glass elements enhances the spatial experience by allowing natural light to permeate every corner, creating a harmonious balance between opulence and transparency.

The stairway is designed with clean, modern lines, complementing the sleek, contemporary aesthetic of the home. Paired with a striking ballistic chandelier, it enhances the grandiosity of the double-height spaces, creating a visual focal point that elevates the sense of openness and sophistication.

By marrying the timeless charm of Hampton style with elements of Art Deco and French provincial design, the Elsternwick House achieves a harmonious balance of sophistication and approachability, creating a welcoming and refined living environment for its occupants.
